There are those who will defend radical islam ad nauseam simply for the sake of political correctness. It seems as though there is an insipid need to avoid, or perhaps it’s a fear of, possibly offending someone.
All of the evidence of evil in the heirarchy of islamic rule and ideology is routinely overlooked by those who wish to appear tolerant, to what end still eludes me. The condition of gender bias is famous cause celeb in America and yet the same champions of such pooh-pooh the treatment of women in islamic countries and enclaves.
Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of this forgiveness and acceptance, along with the outright denial that there is any danger from radical islam, is the perception that we can simply sit and “discuss” issues with those who would gleefully strap explosives onto their own bodies and sacrifice their own lives for the sake of taking out at least one “infidel”.
Russia has been a staunch ally of Iran and has of late been cautioning the U.S. to cease and decist its “sabre-rattling” with regard to Iran. Russia has been supplying the Iranian Revolutionary Guard with weapons and training, and has had their respective leaders becoming quite chummy. This would all seem to indicate a bond between the peoples. Not so…
Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit Iran on Tuesday, October 16th. How are the jihadists planning to greet him? Here’s how, Reuters reports:
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian special services have received a warning of a plot to assassinate President Vladimir Putin when he visits Iran on Tuesday, Interfax news agency reported on Sunday.
In an unsourced report, Interfax said security services had been told that suicide bombers and kidnappers were training to kill or capture Putin.
Does anyone still want to try to befriend these maniacs? Me, I’ll take a pass, thank you very much.
